Tuesday 5th April was a great day. The sun was shining and my painting was on show at the Mall Galleries for the annual exhibition of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours.

On until the 16th April, the exhibition is a perfect example of a refreshing, expressive and exciting collection of work with a fantastic blend of abstract and pictorial art.

At the Private View, I was fortunate to meet with Andy Wood, Tony Hunt, Steven Allan Griffiths and David Poxon who explained that in order for a painting to be selected, 10 out of 12 RI members need to say yes. Sounds like hard work for the judges, but it was so worth it. The show was smashing!

Its an achievement to be included in such a prestigious society and I hope to be a successful candidate to join the RI next year.

Enjoy the video and please be sure to take a trip to trafalgar square and see the exhibition. You wont regret it!
