The Next Step

April 13, 2017 - jo-admin - Uncategorized

MA Fine Art at Chelsea College of Arts is one of the longest running postgraduate fine art courses in the country, delivering a programme that covers the entire spectrum of what fine art is and can be.

I am delighted and excited to be a part of this prestigious College, and the new Course leader – Patricia Ellis – offered me a place to study the Masters during the interview and I jumped at the chance!

Being an artist is a solo job, and to have the opportunity of working alongside like minded people who are pushing their creative boundaries to progress and evolve is something I want to be a part of. I see this as a new platform for me to connect and contextualise my work within the contemporary art scene and ensure that my name, Joanna Gilbert, is firmly on the map.
