Turkish Art Week opens its inaugural “TA London” exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery. This is a Renko London project in collaboration with Playmaker Events and sponsored by Turkish Airlines and Doqu Home.

From pop art to lyric abstraction, the exhibit features 21 internationally acclaimed artists whose work include a variety of contemporary art movements, techniques and disciplines.

I am honoured to have been selected as one of two Jewish artists to exhibit along side a select group of internationally acclaimed exhibitors at London’s first major contemporary Turkish art exhibition.

Part of the project’s mission is to inspire cross-cultural art conversations to guide the future of global art. London artist Joanna Gilbert was invited to exhibit and is pictured showing her diptych titled ‘Fire in My Soul’. Her work is expressive and vibrant and represent inner strength, courage and freedom.

By providing opportunities to talk, exhibit and explore together, we hope the future of art will be guided by true representational diversity.

Turkish Art Week aims to visit new cities every year and they already have ideas for TA Tel Aviv.

Bringing international artists together will create new visions and experiences that will energise the arts and benefit everyone. That’s why the name of the exhibition is an expression of gratitude. So, it’s mersi from Turkey and ta from London.
